burping?

Two days post op and I am burping a lot after I am drinking my liquids?...Is this normal?  Or does this mean that I am drinking too fast?  I contantly feel like I have indigestion and the burping helps make it go away....Thanks..

I did that and hiccuped a lot.  I just thought it was gas from the surgery working it's way out.

I did both, i had the hiccups and burping, mine went away shortly after a few days!!

I'm two weeks out and still burp constintly.  I burp better then my kids and husband combined.  I wasn't a belcher before surgery but I sure am now.  My nut says it's perfectly normal and healthy.  It's our bodies way of expelling air out of our small pouch.

any time I eat or drink anything I get weird noises, not burps exactly but you can tell it's air rising. I get some weird looks from my kids. LOL

I still get burps or some of those funny sounds and it has been 6 months since surgery. It's more funny than anything. You will start to learn when one is coming around.
