Post op metallic taste?
I still have it and i'm 2 weeks post op. I don't know if its from the iron in the vitamins, or what. I havn't had any issues to make my pouch or internal sutures bleed, such as vomiting, which can break small blood vessels that might cause an iron taste if you burbep. Blood tastes metallic due to the iron in it, so if you have had any vomiting issues, you might want to ask your doctor. I notice it is worse after I take my vitamins though, so maybe its just because there is more iron in my system. ???

When we eat a high protein low carb/ sugar diet, we go into ketosys (sp?)
There are 3 kinds of fuel the body burns, sugar, alcohol and fat. If you eleminate sugar and alcohol from your diet, you will burn fat. (Atinks diet is much the same). The byproducst of this process are ketones. We expell them in our urine and can taste them in our mouth as metallic taste. Also in our breath so watch that too.
Don't know forsure if the is what the problem is, but I suspect it probably is.
