Tomorrow is the day.
Well, Dave and I are in Wichita Falls. It has been a LONG day.
We left home at 4:30 this morning. Went to base to get gas, and got on the road. :) We got to Wichita Falls around 7:30. After a bit of direction confusion, we got to United Regional for pre-admission just before 8. I finished up my pre-admission business around 9:30ish. We stopped by Burger King so Dave could pick up some breakfast. Then we headed out to Dr. Warnock's office for my lap band nutrition class. That was from 11-2ish. I had my appt with Dr. Warnock at 2:15, and finally got called back around 3:45ish. UGH.
I had to have an EKG done at Dr. Warnock's office. He also said that my abdominal scan showed gall stones, so that means it's coming out tomorrow. :) Dr. Warnock said that he was very impressed with the amount of weight I lost on the pre-op diet. He wanted me to lose 12lbs and he figured it would be 4-6 weeks before surgery. In the 3 weeks or so that I have been doing the pre-op diet, I dropped 15lbs.
After the appt, Dave and I drove to the guest house and checked in. We brought our stuff in and then we went to figure out where we need to go in the morning.
We're back in the room, relaxing. I have to take my pre-op shower with their "special soap" tonight and tomorrow. I need to be at the hospital at 5am to check in for the surgery.
I'll try to update as soon as I can, but don't expect anything before Saturday. :)
