I have a surgery date (& it's 2 weeks away)!

Whooo hooooo!!! Yippeeee! I spoke to Dr. Rita Anderson's office today & I am scheduled for DS on Wednesday, November 26 at Kettering Medical Center... yes, I know it 's just 2 weeks away & the day before Thanksgiving but that was the date I was originally scheduled for RNY in Cincinnati (before I started reading the DS board & learned a thing or two). My sister had already asked off for work that week to be with me & I had told my boss it would be that date some time ago. Of course, later I told them it might change since I was changing surgeons (& surgeries), but this works out perfectly! I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!

How exciting for you!  Congrats on your date.  I go in the day before you and I can't wait!  How awesome that it worked out for you.  My surgey date was the perfect date for me and my family who are watching our kids.  I guess that means it is meant to be.  Keep us posted on your success :>)
