less than a week away

I WILL BE HAVINY RNY SURGERY ON 11-17-08 AND RIGHT NOW I AM JUS COUNTING THE DAYS BUT NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PAIN I AM HAVING MY SURGERY OPEN DOC IS SORTA OLD SCHOOL (( NOT A PROBLEM)) JUST HOPING A CAN BE BACK TO MYSELF SOONER THAN LATER HAVE GALLBLADDER TAKEN OUT ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO AND WAS DONE LAP AND I REMEMBER BEING OUT AND ABOUT THE SAME DAY I CAME HOME JUST SLOW IF IM LUCKY I'LL SAIL RIGHT THROUGHT THIS BEING OPTIMISTIC

You'll do great!  I too am having open surgery on the 17th, DS though.

Can't believe a week from now all of the worries of the surgery will be over and we'll be recovering :)

Hi I'm having surgery on the 17th as well but laproscopic RNY! Good luck and I hope we all come out great!!! Can't wait to see what we all look like 6 months from then!

I am also having lap RNY on the 17th. I am so excited Glad to know I'm not going in alone. GL all and saying a prayer for you all.

Good luck for an uneventful surgery and quick recovery. I had open rny a week ago today and I'm feeling pretty well. I don't really need my pain meds anymore. I was out of the hospital the next day.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE DIDNT THINK ALOT OF PPL WERE HAVING SURGERY THE SAME DAY AS ME BUT THAT IS GREAT I HAVE SOMEONE TO GO THROUGH THIS WITH EVERYONE KEEP ME POSTED WELL HOW ABOUT I'LL JUST SEND YOU GUYS A FRIEND REQUEST
