Hello All,

I'm having surgery and I really don't have any worries, is this normal?  Well I'm a scared that I might not wake up. Man what is wrong with me.

I think that we all handle things differently!  I am not scared, more worried.  You will be fine!  Prayers for a safe and painless event!  :-)

Hey BigRed!!!! I had the exact same feeling as you do....I wasnt nervous at all, even hours before my surgery. whne I was up in preop I had my little moment, but other than that I was good. So I think its normal to having many differnet kinds of emotions!!

i can't even put a name to the emotions i'm feeling.  disbelief seems to come up for me a lot....along with a lot of "can we just do this already?"

I'm not worried. Well, I'm worried that it won't get done, but that is silly...right? LOL

I know that God's got my back. :)

Wishing you well tomorrow!  You'll be fine. I actually LOVE "going under."  I've had two surgeries under anesthesia.  One second you're awake, and I always expect to sort of slowly doze off, but it doesn't work that way. It's just BOOM you're asleep, next thing you know you're waking up.  It's fun, I'm looking forward to it.   (Wierd , I know)
