November 12 surgery date

I'm a total newbie here - having surgery and starting my new, healthy life on November 12th in South Dakota.  Actually, I'm in the liquid phase now- it's hard!  I'm starvin'!!  But so far I'm sticking to it pretty well.  Anyone else have the 12th as a date?  Or doing it in South Dakota?

Hello, I also have surgery scheduled for November 12th. What are you having done? I'm having lap RNY and i am also on a two week liquid diet. Hang in there! Were just a few days away...

Hello there , how did your surgery go.

Lap RNY for me on the 12th!!  I'm having surgery outside of Boston, MA.  No liquid diet for me - I get to eat til the day before.... though I did have a protein shake for breakfast today out of solidarity!

Like I just posted; I'm doing lap-band.  I have to do the liquid diet to shrink my liver so they can do it easier, apparently!!  Can't believe it's only 9 days away - eek!!!!  I am excited but a little bit nervous

I am having surgery on the 12th as well... Not sure if it is VBG or VSG will find out on Thursday....
I'm really nervous, I might even back out if it is VBG

I'm Nov 12th too. I'm having the VSG.  I'm in the Dallas, TX area.  I made weight today so I'm excited.  Now to keep it off before surgery.  Yeah.  I think I will go complete liquids on the 7th when I start my vitamin for the surgery.  I went on liquids twice and twice I had to reschedule my surgery.

 Congrats on your upcoming surgery. What type are you having? I'm having the lapband on Nov 11th. EEEKKK Feeling nervous and excited all in the same breath. I'm in Northern California close to SF. Hope everything goes really well.
