Yikes!!!! My surgery is novemeber 5th!!

I just found this part of the board!  My surgery is NEXT WEDNESDAY and  I have read, taken notes dieted (85#'s lost presurgery!!!)  So it's all good-----now those butterflys are buzzing in my stomach!!! Oh Boy!!!  Well..... I know everything will be okay..... just calm thos butterflies down! It's going to be an interesting week around my house!! Any last minute advise you all have??? Lori, you are 9 days out and I am 10.  I am not stressing yet, and my house looks a mess.  I am not too sure why I am so relaxed, but I am. I am sure it will hit me next weekend when it is the last weekend to do things. I am just still so excited at the chance to get my weight down and keep it down.  We will do great! Deep breaths now..............OK?  Teri

thank  You Teri------ I am mostly calm too---after wanting this for years---and working on it since last Feb. I certainly do know it's the right thing and right time for me!  I have been feeling better and better  as I have lost the pre--surgery pounds------ I know the best is yet to come! My only apprehension is that I have to travel to Clovis ( insurance purposes) and so will miss my Husband ( he cannot go---kind of disabled--and so it would make me worry more about him) (I have a great amazing friend that will travel with me--- so I do have support)  MY surgeon is highly recommended by my first choice surgeon---and so no worries there.....I just can't wait for the part when they wake me up in recovery!!
     I am on the mad house cleaning mode too!!!  I did go out and have a really nice "last meal"  NOt a big blow-out--just an elegant steak dinner at a really nice place here.....so that made it all very special too.
Well..... best wishes to you on your surgery---I won't be around a computer for a few days after surgery..... DeAnna is my angel ( on the California board) so she'll post that I am fine....
You are right----WE WILL DO GREAT......and yes, I am breathing.....calm..... quiet little butterflies....

I'm the same day - just want it to be the 7th of Nov. tomorrow and that this is over.

I don't have butterflies, mine are Canadian geese flying around in there!!!

We will all be great - complication free!!!!

I'm feeling the same way. I'm nervous, excited, scared ... a ball of emotions right now. I found out last Wednesday when my date was and have felt that way ever since. I can't wait to be in recovery and then be home and just get started with my new life. Good luck to everyone. It'll be over before we know it.

I am so nervous, I am looking forward to the middle of November when I will hopefully be feeling better and back home.  I do good until I think about how close it is, then my stomach starts to turn. Wishing everyone the best of luck.
