Diana: Congratulations on surgery tomorrow! I'm sure everything will go just fine for you. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm nervous and I almost feel bad when I tell them that I'm not. But I'm sure the nerves will hit me soon enough. I know I won't be able to sleep the night before ... so I plan to go to bed super early and just get as much sleep as I can. I figure I'll sleep plenty in the hospital the next day anyway. Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery. Pam

HI Jen, I am so glad to have a buddy to go thru this with. Keep in touch and let me know how you get along. I'll go take a look at your profile. I haven't finished a lot of mine as I am still pretty new to the board and posting. But it is wonderful to have so many friends to talk to and get help and support from. I just back from the visit with my surgeon and his "fellow" and everything is on schedule. I have my pre-op on Nov. 12 and 13th. Yep... two days. They could'nt get my upper GI scheduled with the regular pre-op so I have two days of doing "stuff" I plan on doing the liquid diet starting next week - right now I'm cutting down portions more than I already have and drinking plenty of fluids. So far I haven't craved anything so I guess that is a good thing. Nancy
