Hi eveyone, Hope all is well. I am so excited. I am leaving for San Diego tonight and my surgery is this Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Wow! I cannot believe it is here. I have been waiting two years for this and it feels as this is the first day of the rest of my life. Thank you for all your support members and please keep me in your prayers. Nothing taste as good as being healthy! I am a bit nervous, but am lucky to have my fiancee to stay at the hospital to support me. I need all of you too! I will update you when I get home. I'm right there with you! I am trying to keep myself REALLY busy!

I am going home the same day as my surgery. I do not have to stay overnight (provided there are no complications, of course). I do not expect food to be an issue for Thanksgiving... mostly because I will probably sleep most of the weekend. I only put together the "liquid feast" just in case the aromas become too overwhelming. I just thought I would share them in case anyone else needed some ideas on holiday food choices. My doctor did not require that we do a liquid pre-op diet... he suggested a 2 week low carb, high protein diet before surgery to shrink the liver. 48 more hours and I will officially be a "Bander" :)

Dittos Heather, All that and a sf jello cup! What a great wow moment to have one week post op. I will be doing the one week weigh in tomarrow, I was down 6 lbs 4 days post op and I did 2 miles on the Walk away the Blubber tape today...keep it up doll face...bmj
