Topic: Happy Anniversary to All!
Hi all you wonderful November people!

How did you celebrate your 1  year anniversary?  Did you buy yourself a fabulous gift?  Did you have a party or special celebration?

How are you doing with staying on track with your eating and exercise plan?  How have you done with your weight loss?  Inches loss?  Clothing sizes loss?  How close are you to your various goals?

What great things have you accomplished this year that you never dreamed you could do?

How are you feeling?  Is your head on straight and in tuned with your body?  Are you proud of yourself?  Do you realize how fantastic you are?

What struggles have you overcome?  What changes have you made in your life (that don't relate to the scale)?  What goals have you set for the coming year?

C'mon folks... share your story!  (And share some pictures while you're at it!)

Hi everyone,
I made it to my one year !!!! I celebrated with buying a membership to a gym.... I am now able to eat almost everything but in smaller amounts. I carry healthy snack with me to work like nuts, fresh fruit and water. I am in love with Wendy's take out  chilly w cheese, a small will last me for 2 days and is a good source of protein. I am sick of chicken breast and tuna for now.
I am 37 yrs, stand @ 5'1" and:
Started @ 263lbs
Now @ 138lbs
Lost 124lbs
Size 8/10
People are acting different to me ( lots of very nice comments from friends and loved ones). I have notice little bits of neagotive comments (loved ones who want to see me to compare there size to me now and will make comments like you shouldn't lose any more weigh or you don't look so good) I really don't care what others say about me.. I am feeling great and love to move around with out any pain. I love the fact that I can jog/run, that still shocks me ....now if I could only jog/run without a great big old smile on my face :o)
My hopes for me and everyone else is to continue our success in our new healthy living....

Hi Christi,

Yes it's that time again! My year out will be on the 26th of this month. I just got about 2 more weeks.  I started by weighting 248 lbs. Today I'm at 131 lbs.  A total lost of 117 lbs in just a little under a year out. I'm super happy and couldn't wish for anything else! This surgery has changed me for the best! I'm able to just do so much more then before. I still remember myself a year ago how miserable I was. Now all I want to do is go out and enjoy my life to the fullest!

Hope everyone has awesome results!

God Bless
Jenny

Highest: 248
Current: 131
Goal: 140
TOTAL WEIGHT LOSE THIS FAR: 117POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!

thank You for the info, I thought I would never really have to worry again about losing weight, I think that I am really anxious to get to my goal, I feel pretty good and I am on the same food plan with  no white foods at all, I have to try to remember to drink my milk, but I try to eat all my protiens and veffies, I feel healthier, other than Lately I started having pain in my lower abdomin, not to sure what that is, Will have to wait to see the doctor, thank you for your reply, I think losing 130 pounds so far I want more lol, thanks

I also  have not    lost  over  5 pounds  in the last three months.   I still am going down or staying the same.   I really have to watch what i put in my mouth  and  do some  more walking and wii fit.
Son has been sick  so  the last  two weeks not much exercise.  But i back on track now.
I  have been watching what goes in  my mouth too  and not  eat  junk.

I still have  28 pounds to lose to get to  doctors   goal.

have   two weeks before  my dietician  appointment    for my year out.
as long as scale goes down  i wont care if it   .2 of a pound

have a great day all!!!

I hate that my appetite has returned, and that I can eat more.  I can eat sweets, though they don't taste good at all, but I have this sick need to keep testing.  I don't get sick from them, but I get a weird, bubbly feeling in my pouch when I do try to eat sweets.  my biggest struggle has been with wanting crunchy snack foods.  like granola bars and animal crackers.  mid-mornings I get a monster snack attack, some of it is real hunger, but once that is satiated, I still struggle to stop.  I don't have that problem in the afternoons, in fact, some days I have to force myself to take time to have supper.

I haven't had much happen in the last 3 months, either.  Lost nothing for 2 months, then lost 4 or 5.  I think it has to do with the fact that we can, and are eating more, to keep up with our body needs.  And now we don't have that freebie time to lose weight, where it comes off no matter what, so we have to figure out where our maintenance level is, and what we need to do to keep the weight loss happening (if that's our desire).  I know that now that I can eat more, and now that my appetite is back, daily eating is much more normal, where I have have to pay attention and keep working the lessons I have learned over the past year.  I know that the fact that I've virtually stopped exercising hasn't helped.
