Topic: RE: Monthly Weigh In
Hi all-
I had surgery on 11/19/07...I've lost 46lbs since the surgery and a total of 60lbs...This was the first week that I didn't lose, but stayed the same...I feel lucky not to have stalled until this point, but I've upped my protein to get me moving again (not to mention stop/slow my hair falling off)...
Congrats to everyone on their losses! (Outside of this forum, that sounds really odd..lol)

Barbara. Was it your regular pcp who told you to take the aspirin, or your surgeon? My surgeon states no aspirin at all, no matter what.
If you do, please make sure you use the coated aspirin. Regular ones are s-o-o-o not recommended for us.

Okay I went to the doctor and she said that my blood pressure was up. She put me back on pill for blood pressure and told me to take a baby aspirin daily.

Starting weight back in June 251
Surgery Date: 11/7/07, weight that day, 236.5
Weight Today: 194
So, that's 57 pounds gone from when I went to my information night for this procedure.
It's coming off very slowing, about the rate one would expect from lapband, but I don't care, as long as it ALL COMES OFF.
