Topic: RE: Worried
I was at a standstill in February, so I made sure I got my water in and cut down on the beans (bean soup, refried beans, beans everywhere!) and upped my protein with my shakes instead, and the scale started moving again. Beans are bad carbs for me even if the protein side is good. Another thing, make sure you're eating enough, I went thru that phase, too. The scale stopped moving and I realized I wasn't eating, so I went back to using my journal to write everything down that I ate and that got me back on track again.
Good luck.
Topic: Amazed
I am amazed how how many people stop and speak to me now!!!! Mostly men!!! I still dont think i am not fat. I am in 18s for the most part. I gave my 22 size jeans to my daughter in law yesterday. I guess i dont see it in the mirror. I do know that I have loss in excess of 45 inches off my body. Still have a ways to go tho. I am so blessed that this tool works for me and that I can use it to my advantage. My biggest accomplishment is exercising. I wish i really liked it but i dont. but i do do it knowing that calories alone wont let me get to my desired weight. I am glad summer is coming as I do get out more and get more exercise without have to dance with leslie sansone or richard simmons. I did buy a mini tramp and that is interesting lol hard but interesting. I also have a stationary bike and a treadmill. Well all i just needed to talk lol have a great Sunday!!!!

I have not had my surgery yet but I hear people refer a lot to "the foamies". Can you explain exactly what this is? Thanks.

Topic: RE: How do you feel
I feel really, really great. My 76 pound loss is more than I ever imagined I could achieve. It's hard for the believe that I'm only 5 months it. In the last couple of months, I've really gotten all my energy back, so I feel pretty "normal" again. I too try really hard to do well with my vitamins and water intake. It is certainly a struggle.
And I still struggle with exercise. I'm not lazy, just freaking busy. It seems I'm constantly tryng to "fit it in." I know that's a lousy excuse, but it's honest. It's just something for me to work on. I think we all worry about how we are doing. I think we are all really used to failing, and we expect the worst from ourselves. I think we are all doing great!

Topic: RE: How to deal w/ negitive comments from family?
Hey Liz, I'm sure the whole thing caught you off guard and well he just might have been jealous. I kill people with kindness every time. Just smile and say "Thank you for noticing" You could also say..."new body new attitude...wait till you see the convertible I'm going to buy!!"
Keep enjoying doing YOU and don't let anybody take away an ounce of your hard work.
