Hi from the west coast. I too have a Nov 7 date. I have also given up my favorites and started my protien diet yesterday. We can do this. I have a hard time skipping those inbetween snacks but those days are gone. Good Luck!!

I'm getting excited and a little nervous too, but I suppose that goes along with the territory... Trying to get all my ducks in a row and get things ready; not to mention trying to stay busy.
I'll be thinking of my fellow 5thers and keeping you in my prayers...

Hi and congrats to all here on the November board. We are taking an important step to healthier lives in the near future so I congratulate all of us! Next step is making all of the post OP folks scoot on down that loser's bench ...LOL
My surgery is scheduled for the 12 th of November so ....let's make sure we encourage each other on this path.

I had a fellow member direct me to this site. My date is November 5th!!!! I have so many emotions going right now!!! I have my scope appointment on Wednesday, and then on the 22nd is my pre-op assessment, and I also start my liquid diet. It is so surreal. any way thought I would share, Layla

I am also having surgery on November 1st! I feel exacltly how you do, blessed to have this opportunity to make a change in my life for myself and my family. Good Luck. I am scheduled for Nov. 1st. and very excited as well. I don't have to do any liquids prior to surgery... but I haven't had my final meeting with the surgeon yet...that is scheduled for this week friday. Wish me luck! Luck and prayers to you as well. take care- sue
