Hello there all! I thought I should get on here and introduce myself! I have been stalking this site for the last month and finally got my surgery date yesterday..November 9! I see there is at least one other person (hello!) that is on that day too! I went ahead and started my liquid diet today..not so bad. I don't know if I did it right or not, but it helped with my increasing anxiety over waiting for surgery. At least I feel like I am doing something! Well, thanks for reading my intro, and please feel free to add me as a friend, stalk me, whatever! i am just so excited for the whole thing, and am glad I found you all here! What a groovy idea!!

Hi Cathy! I start my liquid diet on Friday for sx on Nov 2. My doc said the same about the Boost/Glucerna/slim Fast. The glucerna is really good in the Butter Pecan. Other than that he said sugar free jello, sf pudding, diet soda, unsweetened tea, ect. The only thing he put a limit on was 2 of the shakes per meal. Hope this helps! Good luck! Bambi
