OMG I can't believe it's almost here!!! I've gotten things all together. I know everyone knows what nesting is for pregnancy well I feel like I'm doing it for my surgery.Alomost here oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!

Hi- Definately!~ I could sure use someone else to talk to . I agree with you- family and friends don't understand what I went through to get here, or why I need to do this. I really am POSITIVE about my choice, I am confident with my surgeon and his team. On the other hand, maybe my hubby is just tired of me always talking about the surgery, spending all my free time on this site and my emotional state or happy, sad, crying (over anything-but it doesn't help that I am also pms'ing) I just want to be on the 'other' side. Which surgery are you having? I'm not sure if I said in my post or not- I am having open gastric - not lap band. Please add me to your list of friends and I'll do the same. Lets just take these next few days one at a time, as they come... remember to breath and enjoy this time with our families and friends. Hello and thankyou for clicking on me and sharing some of your time. I understand the excitement as I too now have a date on November 5th for Lap-band! I start the shakes this Monday Oct. 29th. I am looking for some wonderful friends to share this experience with. I'll be having my surgery at Harper Hospital in Det. MI. I feel so lucky to be where I am at this stage of the journey because I really didn't think it was possible for me to get this surgery but the stars have aligned. I am committed to making this work and also to be there for you too....just let me know who you are.
