Hello, :wave: I got my surgery date as well. Mine is November 30th. quite a bit longer then yours but I am in there. I haven't gone to my preop apts yet. So you talk about a liquid diet prior to the surgery?? I am in the dark here. I thought I was pretty informed but I did not know about this. Tell me more. Where do I get it? When do I begin? Or is this something you get from the doc, maybe a script or something. Please let me know. Jeannie :secret:

22 days tell my new life. I know this is just a tool (RnY) But I look at it as my new date of birth , Does that make séance to any one else ? I am going through a gauntlet of emotions, I think that is normal. I hope. In Him< Chip

Hi I am from Oregon, I am having my surgery on November 30th. I am excited, scared and have supportive and non-supportive family. Some just don't see me as being in need of the surgery and love me the way they see me. But I have a lot of very supportve people and know a few people who have gone through it themselves. I would like to have someone to talk to about this as I go through this road to my new life.

Hi my name is unice and my surgery date is the 8th of November. Starting October the 31st I have to start my jprotein shakes for a week also.

I think I am very very very lucky in that I do not have to do a required pre-op diet. My surgeon just has you do the every fun "cleanse" the day before. I am doing on my own 2 protein shakes a day and one meal. Really trying hard to not do the "last supper" thing. Its hard but I think I will be better off in the long run if I don't think as if I will NEVER eat certain things again. I agree that if they called me in the am I would FLY right down as fast as I could....its the waiting now that is making me a little nutty. BUt all in good time I guess, I've waited this long whats 17 days right! Do you have to do a pre-op diet? I find it interesting that surgeons can differ so much in their requirements.
