i had lap band 11/05/07, and so far only down 11 pounds! first fill today and still no restrition! help please!!!!

Don't be sad. I was wondering why has such a long period of time passed for your first fill? My surgery was on 12/10 and I already had a fill. I still notice that I can eat to much so I requested another fill which should happen on 2/07. What are you experiencing right now? Can you still eat to much? What foods are you eating? My surgeon said some doctors don't fill the first time for 3 months!! I had to wait 6 weeks. They told me not to be surprised if I stayed the same or even gained a little before my first fill. From my 2 week visit (I had lost 13) to today (my first fill) I had only lost 3 more. He said any weight loss at all before the first fill is great!!
