how much wgt to date?
As of today I've lost 29.5 pounds. I had a two week stall that felt like forever. Now, that's over, and my body is back on track. I wasn't too worried about the stall, just a little frustrated. I figure if my weight stalls here and there, maybe it will give my skin a little time to shrink. I really don't want to end up looking like the incredible melting woman if I can help it.
I am at 36 pounds and happy at that as I never lost 36 pounds in 7 weeks before - I find that the OH Yeah! bars that I heard about here certainly satisfy my sweet tooth - they are 105 calories per wafer with 7 Grams of Protein - 2 to the package - yummy!
they can be ordered at www.issresearch.com Keep up the good work! Marie
My wls was 11/12/07. 8wk weight loss, 43lbs, 61lbs since July. I teach dance to kids. I will be walk/jogging on a regular basis and plan on doing the Disneyland 1/2 maraton at the end of Aug to celebrate my 55th birthday July 2. I start cna classes in two weeks, old dogs and new tricks is one of my new mottos.
I had Gastric RNY on November 26th with a two week Slimfast diet before. In total I have lost 58 lbs. I really can't eat much...yogurt, peanut butter, toast, rice and beans, soup, banannas, a poached egg ( no scrambled), cheese and that's about it! Think I will take advantage of it so when I slow down it won't be so drastic a shock! I am having trouble slowing down to eat and chewing. I do feel great though!!!

Hi everyone!
I've lost 74# since my pre-op diet started Oct. 13th. SInce surgery, I've lost 37. I'm on a stall right now (since Jan 5th). Was losing a pound every day and a half for about 2 weeks over Christmas-THAT was GREAT!! LOL
Congrats to everyone! We're doing WONDERFUL!! We'll be to goal before we know it! (I still have a LONG way to go since I want to lose a tiny bit more than 200# total)

I had a lapband done on 11/21/07. I have lost 32.5 pounds so far. I started out at 253 and was down to 220.5 this morning. I had a follow up with the doctor on Wednesday and he thinks that I am doing well and do not need an adjustment yet. I'm not much of an exerciser either. In fact I hate it. I hate sweating. I hate smelling. I know I need to change this. My food intake is pretty good. I am not having that much trouble with foods. I am measuring almost everything as I know I would continue to eat and eat even though I know I'd get sick. I'd much rather not so that's how I am trying to keep myself from not being that way. So anyway things are good.
I had my RNY on 11/13 and am down 80lbs total. 62 since surgery. I try to walk on my treadmill 3x per week and start today with a personal trainer twice a week. I had a loong stall (3 1/2 weeks) at about 2-3 weeks out but seem to be back on the losing side again. I've noticed that if I dont get much protein in my loss slows big time. So I'm really watching my protein these days.
You ladies have all done wonderfully! Its so nice to talk to people who had the surgery at the same time. Keep up the great work!
