I'm Home

Hey Everyone! I have finally arrived back home! I got here about 2 hours ago, so I thought I would update everyone. My surgery went fine. I ended up having to stay an extra night because I had to get some blood transfusions. The doctor said that I lost a little too much blood. Also my heartbeat and blood pressure was up high. So I got 2 pints Wed. night and 2 more yesterday. Which helped a lot since I was so weak. But besides that everything went great! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!!!

Congrats on being home! I, too, have JUST had my surgery this week. I had 2 nights in the hospital but am home now. I have to admit, it's kinda scary being home and doing this "on my own" without the drs and nurses looking over my shoulder. But I think if we all lean on each other a bit, we'll all get each other through this. God bless us, every one! Hurray for us! Karyl
