surgery postponed

I do have to appologize that I haven't kept everyone up to date, my surgery has been postponed for the time being until after the first of the year. It was originally scheduled for nov 20th I believe. My place of employment had originally approved my leave before thinking things threw and realizing that I would miss the 1st week of peek so I was asked if I could postpone it, they have been good to me there so I agreed. Im waiting to hear the new surgery date, but know that it will be some time between Jan 6 and Feb 23 cuz that is when the insurance approval runs out so it is not to far off! and at least I can get threw the holidays being able to eat more then pudding and jello!!

Hi Jackie - I totally understand about the work and time off situation. If my surgery had been scheduled just 8 days later, I would have postponed until after mid-February. As it is, I'll be going back to work just as a HUGE project begins and I'll be neck deep in planning the event-of-the-year. I'm sorry you had to be postponed, but I like the way you think ---- you'll get to eat for the holidays! LOL! Enjoy some turkey for us this week and have one of those frosted sugar cookies with sprinkles at Christmas for me, please. Good luck with your surgery in a couple months.
