i'm home

i'm home, surgery went well but i've got this pain in my back that is worse than all the incisions. I'm trying to walk as much as i can but man do i hurt. feel very alone and i'm already driving my husband nuts. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Tell your doctor!!! Any unusual pain should be addressed. Have you tried alternating hot and cold compresses on your back? You may have a strain from laying flat for so long during surgery and recovery, but something else might be going on. Don't be afraid to bug your doctor's office if you're not getting better...that's what they're getting paid for! Best of luck, and hope you get better soon, Judith

Hello Dawn I'm so glad to here your's went well Mine was a lot scary I had an open RNY and my stomach and spleen was extrmely close and my spleen was cut so I lost a lot of blood and had to get a Blood transfusion of two pints of blood it was pretty bad I guess per my family. the dr and staff was great though they came and told my family right away that they were doing there best to get my through all of it and they did it took two extra days in the hosp. and I'm home doing a whole bunch better. Gl luck and have a safe recovery cathy
