OMG Monday is almost here!!!
OMG I can't beleive that my surgery is on monday!! I've been reading everyones posts about how they are going to miss food and suprisingly I haven't really had anything like that run through my mind at this point and time I have started to get nervous and I don't really want to show it to my fiance cause he is already nervous about things. (He supports me he's just nervous because of the SURGERY part) I went shopping today and got everything that I needed for eating wise and I think I went a little over board on some things (guess that linked into the Lap RNY nesting syndrome {you know the nesting syndrome for pregnant women} that I was talking about) I've been wanting to clean house and make sure everything is in order but it's kinda hard because of my back (L-5 vertabrea is fractured in two spots and the disk below is deteriorated) I went for my first set of back injections yesterday and all that did was hurt even worse and my pain is now even worse than what it was......Man I feel like I'm babbling but I guess that's how you can tell I'm getting nervous about things. I know everything will be okay but still it is surgery.....NERVOUS NERVOUS NERVOUS!!!
I guess I'm done babbling for now
thanks for reading(LOL)
Wow - that's GREAT! In just 48 hours or so it will all be over and you'll be on your way to getting that weight off. I'm very excited for you!! The surgery part is scary for some of our families, but the end result will be fabulous! That's too bad about the back injection not working for you. Maybe the shot will kick in later and you'll feel better... Well, best of luck on Monday! Take care.....

Just wanted to say thank you my surgery is at 11a.m. on monday but I have to be at the hospital at 9 am and I'm excited to be on the losers bench and that actualy meaning a good thing I'm been part of the "Loser's" crowed for the longest time and I don't mean the good losers Thanks for your words of incoragement it means a lot to me
LOL! I thought I was the only one experiencing "nesting syndrom"! Seriously, just about every closet, drawer and cabinet has been organized and cleaned out now...and yes, the pantry is stocked with broth, protein powder and jello!
I go in on Wed...it's finely starting to sink in and I'm feeling those tinglings of anxiousness or anticipation or whatever...it's like when I have to get up and speak in front of people...I know it will be fine, but just ready to get started!
My prayers are with you (and the rest of us November surgeries!)
Heather
Lucky for you that your date is with in reach. Good luck to you too. Before you know it it will be all over and your house will be all nice an organized, life will fall into place while the fat just melts away. Good for you and again, good luck. I am still waiting to go to my orientation and decide which kind of surgery to get. I am so confused at this point. Which is safer, more effective, better, etc. Any suggestions out there? Any warnings?
Thanks,
Connie
