Surgery less than 2 weeks away!

I just joined this site last night and love it so far. I am currently doing the pre op liquid diet (which sucks) and my surgery is right around the corner. Anyone have anything to say? Good, Bad, inbetween? Anything that could be of help or interest to a soon lap bander. Thanks Shannon

I just thought I would pop on and say hello and welcome Shannon! What day are you having your surgery? I am on the liquid diet, officially too. I started it on Tuesday this week, and that was 3 days early, I wanted to see how I did and it made me feel like i was doing something to curb my anxiety and excitement, and that went fine.. So, last night was yhe last night that I originally could have been diet free, so i had chicken and ice cream. I so regretted it after I did it, because apparently my stomach must have shrunk in those 3 days, I was STUFFED! Oh well, i finished off my favorite ice cream and it is not sitting in the freezer taunting me anymore. I am done with that foolishness! Good luck to you-glad to see ya on the board! Barb

My surgery is scheduled for Nov 6th and tomorrow i go in for my pre op testing. How are you doing on the preop diet since your last post? Mine gets easier but harder if you know what i mean. i am just ready to get the surgery done and over with so i can start the next part.
