Topic: RE: Weekly Weigh In
Thanks for starting us off, Corinna! I still weigh 141. I'm not complaining, because I deserve to weigh more than that! You all are doing so much better than me with planning and monitoring your intake. I'm proud of you and I hope to get better at it in the future!

Topic: Weekly Weigh In
Hi All! Hopefully I'll get this posted before someone else decides to post one
Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!
I made the "plan" to not worry about carbs or calories this weekend and enjoyed myself thoroughly Although it was always in the back of my mind that I so wasn't going to want to get on the scale on Monday... But I did. And guess what...still at 155. I'm SERIOUSLY stuck there I guess.
I am back on the wagon this morning though. My plan for today and tomorrow is to do just protien drinks just to shake the carb cravings and I'm sure will hit me in about a hour.
My mini goal...actually I have two this week. Plan my meals, and exercise!!
My big goal...maintain my current weight and eating habits (not the ones from this weekend )
Hope everyone has a fabulous week!!!

I keep thinking I need to dig mine out too. It's so easy to use because it's one of those frozen bowl types so you don't have to deal with ice and salt and all that messy stuff. But I just never get around to it. Sounds yummy though!!

Shawn,
I think I might have smacked her!!! Pregnant??? Although I agree with Wanda clothes are sometime not our friends even still. I know I sometimes put something on and think, oh that's cute, and a couple hours later look in a mirror again and think...what in the world was I thinking?
Anyway, good for you for not turning to food! That's important and a big victory for you! Way more important than an stupid woman who needs to learn how to think before she opens her mouth.

I have a collection of unused appliances too! I've made it a policy to give away anything that I don't use...then I start thinking how nice it would be to have one, so the cycle starts again!

It's a small 1.5 quart. I made some chocolate no-sugar added ice cream the other day. It looked and tasted just like a a Wendy's frosty. I made it with cream so I'm sure it had a lot of calories in it. Today I mixed my regular protein shake with water and poured it in. Twenty minutes later I had a frozen chocolate peanut butter slushy-type drink. It wasn't as good as the ice cream, but it was still very good!
It is well worth the effort when you want something special!

It's all in the clothes, girlfriend. I went to see my daughter yesterday and she looked so pregnant in the top she was wearing. I tried to give her a hint about it by saying "I can't wear shirts like that because they make me look pregnant." Some of the tops even make tiny, skinny people look pregnant. It's not you, so don't take it personally. And besides some people are just idiots...

I love the Pocono's! Have a great time! I would love to go back someday. We are still trying to get our house paid off (we are down to $38k--yeah!) so we aren't spending much money on travel this year. I just booked a cruise to celebrate my son's graduation from the aviation acedemy, but it's next February.
We are paying for his girlfriend to come with us, so she (and he) are thrilled about going. The only other thing we have planned is to use our hotel reward points in Key West in the fall.
It sounds like you are making a great summer for your girls! I'm sure they are loving it!
