Topic: Going to Louisiana!!!!
I am so excited... I am going to be a grandma NEXT week!!!!! They are inducing my daughter in law on the 24th.... My mom is taking me and my kiddos from Michigan to Louisiana so that we can be there when the baby is born!!!! We are heading out this weekend, so I am very busy this week, packing and doing laundry and trying to get the house clean.... I don't want to come home to a messy house.... Anyway, I don't know if I will get a chance to borrow a computer while I am down there or not, so I may be MIA for almost 2 weeks... I will put pictures on my profile as soon as I can.... My son said I could borrow his computer while he is at work and I am at their house, but who knows what will happen.... Unfortunately her being induced early brings lots of mixed feelings, because that just means that my son will ship out to Iraq even sooner than we had planned They said he will have 2 - 4 weeks after the baby comes and then he joins his platoon (or whatever their "group" is called) over at Camp Victory in Iraq..... Of course I am sooo excited to meet my new grandson, but I wish my son could stay here and see him during that first year.... Well, I gotta go get dinner made, work on more laundry and work on more packing and probably another list of things to take... LOL.... Hope you all have a good night.... I will try and get online at least one more time before I head out.... I just hope I can stay on track while on the road and staying at my son's house..... I am taking a lot of food for myself (as long as we can fit it in). HUGS to ALL, Shawn M.

1. 1009 cal, 36 g carbs, 101 g protien 2. just a short walk with the dog 3. yep, all of them. 4. 60 oz 5. After several days of not counting carbs I had to get back on the band wagon today. The first day back is always the toughest because you crave the carbs. But I managed pretty well and only went 6 over. 6. exercise (not doing so great with that one), plan my meals - did that today and followed it. 7. maintain my weight and eating plans - doing only okay on this one this week, at least the 2nd half. 8. I'm letting myself totally slide on the exercise. Gotta get back into it. It's so hard once you let yourself off the hook to go back...ug! Last week I think I only worked out three times (compared to my six planned days) and I already missed today this week. No more misses!!!! I've also let myself use the excuse of that time of the month to no****ch my eating. But I did get back on track with that today and feel good about it. I'm also going to give myself credit for making a conscience effort to drink more water and I read my Beck card (I've only done step one so far) twice like I planned. So tomorrow is another day and I'm gonna move another step in the right direction!

Corinna, most people wouldn't think twice about buying a new car every few years. That's a depreciating asset. Your body is worth everything! You deserve to feel good and feel like you have a normal body. You are still young and this will make a huge difference in your life. I had a few problems along the way, but I would do it again in a heartbeat!! I feel much more attractive and well...pretty darn sexy for a woman who has a 33 year-old daughter! (We just celebrated her birthday and I'm still in shock that she got that old, because it makes me really OLD!) Have your surgery when you're ready. You deserve it. And by the way, I would have considered Mexico too, but Randy wouldn't go for it. Considering I've had two revisions on my breast, it's a good thing that I didn't. Orlando was far enough! Keep us posted on your decision. Wanda

I hope all goes well at the weight loss center. Let us know how that goes. I think the key to success is support groups like this one. I think you will learn more on these forums than at the doctor's office. I've have anemia too. It takes so long to get the iron back up after it gets too low. Just keep taking your iron and vitamins and it will turn around eventually. Did the PA tell you that you should take iron at night along with Vitamin C? And space your calcium at least two (four if you can) hours prior to your iron. Keep fighting the good fight! The important thing is that we keep paying attention. If we lose our focus, we will gain it back before we realize it! Wanda

Good lawd, girlfriend! 819 calories?! You are a maniac! I'm trying something different this week. First of all, let me say that I ate ALL weekend. I don't think I ever stopped. But this week, I'm eating six meals per day and 1500 calories! Call me crazy, but I'm trying to stoke my metabolism. I'll let you know next week how that worked for me I am concerned because I will be eating out Wednesday and Saturday so that screws up my master plan somewhat! I'm at 142 this morning, so I'm up a couple of pounds. My mini goal is to knock that off this week. For two whole days I've behaved myself! I'm on a roll! I wish I had your will power. Wanda
