Topic: RE: Woohoo! I got my sexy back!
Look at you, little HOT Babe You... You certainly did get your sexy back.... You look gorgeous... I hope your friend gets her camera back.. that is horrible if someone stole it.... I don't know what I would do if that happened to me... I usually don't download my pics until I get close to 200 of them... I would be crushed if I lost all my pics... The camera at least is replaceable, expensive to replace, but the pictures you can never replace.... I am so sorry that happened... I hope they just put in the lost and found like you said.. that would be a blessing.... Well, have a great day, we are snowed in here today, hubby is outside shoveling... and I am sitting here on the puter.... HUGS, Shawn M.

Topic: Woohoo! I got my sexy back!
I just posted some pictures of me in my outfit I wore to our company Christmas party on my profile. I felt so sexy (and comfortable) in it all night long. I was at the store trying it on one more time before the party when these pics were taken. I have some that were taken at the party and at my friend's hair salon. She fixed mine and my best friend's hair for the party and we got dressed and made-up there. I must say we both looked beautiful. But you may never see those pics because we walked away from our table at the party and when we came back her camera was gone! I hope someone picked it up for us or they have a lost and found or something. There were some really good pictures on that camera, not to mention the cost of the camera itself! Wish us luck in finding it! Thanks, Susan

I feel the same way. I don't know if I have those dreams or not but I always have such a fear of failing at this. For the last 3 weeks my weight started going up a few lbs. I started freaking out and went on a liquid/protein only diet. I lost those few lbs and I'm still on that diet. I let myself kind of get out of control with the carbs. But at least I knew what I was doing and STOPPED! I guess that is the key. We are all going to slip up from time to time but it is important to recognize and fix what we are doing wrong. Have a great day! Susan

Another thing that worries me is that I am having trouble giving away the last stack of clothes that I shrunk out of. Am I planning to fail? The last 5 pairs of pants that I bought were size 4 but, I still can't believe that I am that size and I can's imagine staying this size.

You are right--I am terrified of gaining the weight back. Every other time that I've lost weight, I've gained it back. I remember having those kind of dreams the other times I lost weight too. I am a firm believer that what you think about and focus on will come true. I wish I could get this out of my dreams! Christy, have you moved yet? I'm so proud of you! You didn't accept your cir****tances and came out ahead! Wanda

Girl, I think you are perfectly normal. I have similiar dreams too...... My thoughts are, having these dreams means you are afraid of this happening and assures more that you are aware of the fact and will make sure that the dreams don't come true. Gaining the weight back is one of my biggest fears also.... Keep up the good work and embrace your dreams as awareness. HUGS, Christy

I rarely have dreams that I remember anymore.... I think it is probably due to my sleeping pill that I take.... But I don't think you are twisted in anyway... Usually we dream or have nightmares of our biggest fears, and that is probably one of yours... You are so worried about gaining the weight back that you are thinking about it (or dreaming) in your sleep.. I don't think that makes you twisted, just very normal... Our biggest fears are always in our head, and can rear their ugly heads when we are asleep.... Hey, maybe these sessions I have been having with my shrink are paying off.... LOL...... Maybe I should become a shrink... (NOT)!!!!! ROFLMBO!!!!!! Hope you have PLEASANT dreams tonight Wanda!!! HUGS, Shawn M.

Do you all have dreams where you gained your weight back? Or do you dream of eating in your sleep? I have those kinds of dreams a lot! I wake up with such a feeling of regret. It usually takes me a minute to realize that it was just a dream. Am I just twisted or is this normal? I'm afraid that thinking of those things will cause them to come true. Wanda

Topic: RE: Life with a feeding tube
Kim, I hope you got the feeding tube adjusted or a new one that is faster! I know at my surgery center the open RNY patients went home with one of those tubes but I didn't realize it's normally attached to a pole! I just thought it hung in a bag around your waist like my little pain "ball" thing from PS. When you are taking a shower, is there a valve to squeeze it shut? So, when you are ready to go out shopping and dress normally, will you just take it off like you do when you are showering now? Hope you are feeling stronger and recovering! Take it very slow and try not to worry about anything because I'm sure stress will slow your recovery!!! I know that Henry and your children are taking good care of you! CeCe
