Isn't it kind of sad that others only seemed to see our weight before. Without our fat, they don't know who we are!
I bet you are loving your lower body lift. I'm wishing that I had the back side done too. There is still alot of clothes that I can't wear because I have the baggy back. Maybe I will have that done next year (after the face lift!).
You asked about my son--there is a lot going on. As you know, he joined the Army Reserves last spring (80% of Reserve troops are called to active duty so is it really reserves any more?). He had basic training in Oklahoma and then MOS training in Virginia. He came back a changed man. He turned 21 a couple of weeks ago. He took the initiative to sign up at the Aviation Academy in Clearwater. I had the Florida Pre-Paid college for him, but that couldn't be used at this school. So he took the initiative to get grants, the GI bill, and student loans to take care of school. It broke our heart to see him spending 4 hours a day on the road so we set him up in an apartment down there. Randy said that he reminded him of me--once he figured out what he wanted he just made it happen! I'm proud of him!

Thanks! Its funny people have asked me what kind of dress I want and I truly don't know. I am just getting used to my new body and I can hardly imagine it in a wedding dress. So I am really looking forward to going dress shopping!

I figured Nov was good for me once so it would be a good time to get married too. I had been thinking Nov and when I asked him what time of year he saw us getting married he said late fall. I am glad you got a laugh about the barbie thing I actually hadn't heard of that. My Mom collects barbies with me I can't wait to tell her about it!

That's great! WooHoo, Wanda. I can't imagine being in a size 4, much less a size 2! That's awesome. You have done so well with your surgery and sticking to your diet plan and exercise. You and Brit and CeCe are all inspirations and motivators to me. I know what you mean about wrapping your head around it. I still feel like I look like I'm 200+ lbs. I guess that's one of the demons that will live with us for a long time. But you look great so congratulations and keep up the good work!

Thank you, CeCe. It is hard watching her go down this road knowing that she doesn't have to. But I guess I just have to be there when she reaches bottom although that will be hard to do also. We'll see what happens.
I got my elbow, knee, and wrist pads yesterday so I'm ready to hit the road (figuratively speaking!). But it's so cold outside!!

I told you congrats in my weigh-in note but since you might not have read that, I wanted to tell you here as well! That is wonderful! I'm so happy for you! You'll have a busy year planning for the November wedding and it will be here before we know it! I'm off to check your pictures on your profile! Oh, by the way, when you mentioned Barbie and Ken, I had to laugh. There seems to be some unfortunate swelling following a tummy tuck that gives people the "Ken Doll Effect." You know how Ken's genitals were nonexistent but he had that swollen "mound"? That's what I have! It sticks out further than my stomach (which is now FLAT!!!)
