Topic: Update on Trudy
Sorry guys I have been totally lazy the last couple of weeks. I rarely got on the computer. I've been concentrating on recovering and it is working well. I saw my doctor yesterday and he removed the drains (three weeks) --I was thrilled. I had a few stitches left around my belly button and they were removed and then there was another place that had to be drained with a syringe - four huge things full. He things he'll have to do it again. I am still swolen but look so much better it is unbelieveable. I got on a pair of 12 jeans this morning. I never thought I'd get there! I tire easily but otherwise am doing better than I imagined. Love ya'll Trudy

Hi Love you new avatar Britt glad everyone is doing well. I am still reeling from Wanda's DD mine are barely B's. I've been off work and was really good about exercising last week but discovered I had a sinus infection and went in Monday for some antibiotics. I'm still battling the terrible headaches, but hope I'm getting better. I really found the holidays challenging as well and we went out to eat with friends on Saturday and I had 3 bites of Key Lime pie and on top of the sinus headache I already had I seriously thought I was going to die. Starting weight 298.5 Last week = 158.4 This week = 156.5 Loss this week = 1.9 Total loss = 142.0 Current BMI = 28.6 I had such a hard time getting into the 150's and I'm breezing through them so fast I'm not sure what to think. I was settling for the 160's and I'm glad I didn't give up. Everyone have a fabulous week Deb

Wanda, Thanks for posting this! I was all set to write a few things and then decided to think about it and talk to my husband. Of course, like you, I want to maintain my weight loss, work out and get in top shape! I also want to simplify my life and my household. Both of us are pack rats and after visiting my mother over the holidays, I know where I get it. She truly has a hoarding illness since her health has gone downhill and several rooms in her house are so cluttered it is pitiful. She's lived at a couple of assisted living facilities for the past couple of years but she won't give up the house. She drives so she spends the day at her house. She is supposedly getting rid of stuff but she ends up buying more - anything for a bargain. So, I came home with new resolve to get rid of stuff we don't use! We've done that several times in the past few years but I think we need to do it again and again! We both love books and have built in bookshelves as well as wall units that are full of books. We'll never read many of them again so I need to let those go and keep my treasures!! I also want to stop complaining as much and to stop backseat driving and to stop nagging and...................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More coming! CeCe

Topic: RE: Oh My! The girls are huge.
Little-by-little the girls are making a debut. Not at work, but I have been wearing more form-fitting tops in casual settings. I do love the fact that they are in the right place and not hanging over my stomach! I would highly recommend the surgery when you are ready! Wanda

Dang! Look at you! What a great picture. You are soooo beautiful, girl! Yes--those demons are still with us. Today was my first day back at the Body Definition class. I was in the back row feeling like the 50 year-old fat woman. The sea of pretty young women in front of me didn't help the way I was feeling. But then I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and realized that I wasn't so out of place after all. I was actually thinner than some of them! I was still older than they were, but I could keep up with the instructor even though I hadn't stepped foot in the gym for over two months! Let's vow to love ourselves more and to be kinder to ourselves this year

Topic: Do You Have Any New Goals for 2008?
I want to maintain my weight, continue to stay strong and active....and pay off my house! I've been consumed with becoming debt-free. We've got our other debts paid off except the house. It's a lofty goal, but we are going for it! What about you? What are some goals that you've set? I don't use the word "resolutions" because those never seemed to work in the past. Wanda
