Amen Britt... I know you can do it and keep it. You did for a long time and I know you will again. Just - as you say Keep your eye on the prize. My saying right now is...As long as you are trying you cannot fail. The only way to fail is to quit. So today I will NOT quit! You know as a morbidly obese person people easily see that I have (had) a weight problem. What I know that they don't is. The weight problem was really a food problem and even though they can't see it anymore because I've lost the weight I still have a food problem. I will battle food every day of my life - I have no doubt. Some days I may not win - Most days I will. Some days the battle will be won easily others I will fight hard. Some days I may forget I'm in the battle - then watch out for the sneak attack. But I know it is a constant battle. My WLS though makes me finally think I might win the war! I'm bouncing around with my weight. I don't remember what I reported last week. This week it has been mostly 171 but today was up to 172.5 - I did not win the battle this weekend but I have gotten up ready to fight and plan on winning today!!! I am still a little weak since my surgery but I am planning on at least some brisk walking this week and I think it will help with my energy level.

Hi all, I am still upward on the scale . I am CRAZED about it too. I start each day - determined to eat "right' then fizzle out and find myself eating / grazing. Not good! I feel like I can really eat a lot lately too. For example ...I can eat a whole sandwich. I could NEVER do that before. I am really concerned about how much I can eat. I am talking to my surgeon when I see him in a few weeks. We touched base via email - but we will discuss it in more detail at my appointment. I had the 2 pounds off - then went to a party yesterday and HELLO this morning "THEY'RE BACK!!!!" Starting weight 250.5 Last week = 140 This week = 142 Loss this week = 0 Total loss = 108.5 Current BMI = 22.9 Be Determined! Hi Everyone! I haven't posted in awhile and decided to see what's going on here...I can't believe I'm 14 months post op! Wanda, I am going to look into your toning program. I go to a gym and I know I have to work on maintaining my weight loss now that I can eat more and more often...I use L'oreal's mineral makeup and I love it! It looks great and feels even better! I get it buy one get one free and it lasts a long long time. Why don't you try that before spending the big bucks on Bare Minerals.

Shawn, I've not been as faithful taking my vitamins either. I get them at least once a day but I used to take them twice or even three times a day. Do try the under the tongue B Complex or B12. It's easy and not expensive! You'll probably have even more energy and feel better. If I remember correctly, the B vitamins can help with mood too. I know they are supposed to help with metabolism. It's snowing here and is supposed to continue all evening before heading out. We may get 5 inches - that's 5 inches more than we've gotten in the last couple of years! I can't wait to see what the dogs do tomorrow morning! We have a Maine Coon cat who was just out in it and ran as fast as he could from the gazebo to the garage! Guess he figured out he wasn't born in MAINE!!! Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday. I'm eating very lightly because I want to let my stomach settle. We made a big mistake and ate Italian last night and the pesto disagreed with me BIG TIME! CeCe

So the silver lining to this cloud is you still get to have your surgery in February. Keep your eye on the positive and I'll keep my fingers crossed that these meds do what they are supposed to. I'm sorry you received bad news. Just keep your positive thoughts. You'v come such a long way!

(((((((((((Alan))))))))))))) My goodness.... I know I have been on lisinopril back when I had high bp... that surprises me that they would put you on that if your bp is going low.... I guess it is good that they didn't find a blockage but I am sorry that they found out what they did.... I will keep you in my prayers that the meds work their wonders and all turns out well for you..... I hope your surgery in Feb. turns out good as well... Keep us posted on how all is going with you... Hugs to you, Shawn M.
