Yep ....Can you believe it?
I am a "before and after" in the newest issue of OH magazine. I am SO excited!!!
A friend of mine, who is one of my support group leaders - called to tell me the news. Wow! I am in shock. It's pretty neat to see "me" in a magazine

Oh, darned simple carbs! Why are they so soothing and EASY to eat!!! Hey, you still got plenty of protein in!
We traveled up (3 hours) to see my PS today so it wasn't the best day I could have. I usually take a cooler and have some protein powder and yogurt mixed up but didn't! We did stop at Panera and I ate most of a souffle, hubby ate the rest. But, while there I ate a few bites of his bagel as well! We had a coupon for a buy one/get one free entree for a place in Williamsburg that we used to enjoy. We stopped there on the way home. My salad was very good. I ordered a filet and hubby ordered crab crakes. He enjoyed his crabcakes, my filet was horrible. I said a steak from Golden Corral would have been better! The veggies were cold and I decided if I wasn't going to eat the steak, I sure wasn't going to eat the garlic mashed potatoes. I didn't have the energy to even send it back and wait for something else. The waitress was so pitiful, she didn't even bother to ask if it wasn't good or if I wanted a box to take it home or anything! I hate spending $45 (and getting one entree free!) and feeling totally cheated! When I got home, I ate one of those Heavenly 100 Apple Crisp deserts. They have something like 5 or 6 grams of sugar so it doesn't make me sick and they taste really good!

How wonderful! Congratulations! What are you going to do to reward yourself?
Hate that feeling after eating too fast. After not throwing up/foamies for months, I've had several episodes lately! Can't STAND that.

WTG Julie!!!!! Congrats!!!!! What a great accomplishment.... I am sure you very proud of how far you have come.... I know I am proud of you.....
I seem to eat too fast more often than I want to admit... I know the feeling.... now don't do it again... LOL.... I am guilty of that at least a few times a week, and I need to just slow down and remember that eating is not a race and to enjoy what I am eating....
Congrats again!!!! You've come a long way baby!!!!

Ok - I didn't try to add everything I ate today - a little difficult to read from Fitday to me so here are my totals. I am not happy about all those carbs!! I'll fix that today. I ate some crackers and graham crackers (can you say evil simple carb!) Anyway I'm happy with everything else.
