Today I jogged  3.5 miles and then hopped onto a new machine at the gym call an ARC machine, kinda like and elliptical and a climber ... a good work out :)

I worked out for 1 hour and burned 557 calories!!!

I LOVE a good workout.

I've been training with a trainer since 6 weeks after surgery.  :)  He says I'm "idiot strong" -- kinda like an idiot savant. LOL  It doesn't take a lot for me to get stronger (the only thing I've been blessed with body-wise).  The Dumbbell Chest Press was my personal best!

It's a great combo, just start with weights you are comfortable with!  I wouldn't want you getting hurt doing something you think you should do because I did it.  :)  I'm a freak!  LOL

I hope that sounded right!  I just wouldn't want anyone to get hurt because of something I said.

Good luck and let me know how you feel!

Donna :)

Oh wow! What a neat idea!! I just LOVED seeing everyone!!!

You know-I don't know that I can fully express where my life has gone and what this surgery gave me. I can only tell you all-two years ago today-I was using crutches to walk. I was declining quickly and losing hope. I was told I may not be able to walk without help. Well-LOOK at me now! I walk-I dance and I SKIP- because I CAN! I got tired of dying and started living!

Peace and joy to each of you!!

Hi everyone...Can’t believe two years have gone by. Hope all is well with you all.  As for me, I fell off the wagon and have done all those things I promised myself I wouldn’t do. (eat candy, cookies, etc) Work and home life has become insane and I returned to my old habits and gained 35 pounds back.   To say I am scared of who/what I have become is an understatement. I think the only way to straighten myself out is to go back on the protein shake for at least a lunch and then after dinner nothing to eat.    Other than that… I am as healthy as you can be. I have had absolutely no side effects from the surgery, so there is a positive side.

I was a maniac today.  I spent two hours at the gym.  I did free weights for shoulders, triceps, biceps, and then an hour eliptical.  My heart monitor said I burned 811 calories!

I also got hit on this morning.  One of the guys at the gym said the other guys always check me out and they think I have a great body.  Me?  Can this really be?    So funny.  I couldn't accept his offer for a date, but it sure made my day.
