But look at the bright side - it's too big!!! At least you could get it on, right? That's something to be thankful for! We probably did run across each other while I was there. I really enjoyed living there - especially all the free festivals at the Harbor. Those were so much fun. I lived in Chesapeake for about 4 years or so, right off of Volvo Parkway. It was an adorable little house that I wish I could have moved down here. It had such a perfect layout and although it was only about 1200 sqft, it had plenty of room. I still dream of that house! Plus, the last year I was there, my sister and her family moved from Hawaii to Chesapeake and she lived 1 mile from me. It was so great having her there. She ended up dying of a brain hemmorage in January of 02 so it really ended up meaning a lot to me to have that time with her. Take care and congrats on the dress being too big!!! Susan

Susan, I did try on the dress and it fit lousy!!! I probably weigh close to the same but I think I have more muscle and I sure don't fill it out. It was too long and just looked terrible. I also didn't fill it out on top! I tried it on again when hubby got home and he laughed! We were here when you were stationed at Norfolk! We might have run across each other at one point or another! We live on the peninsula but we are Southside for lots of stuff including trips to the Naro theater iin Norfolk. We run from Chesapeake to Williamsburg in search of great shopping and restaurants! Again, thanks for the inspiration to try on the wedding dress. Anyone else have any delayed WOW moments? CeCe

Trudy, First of all, let me first say I admire the close relationship you have with your teenage son! You must be a great mom if he still allows you to cuddle him!!! That's wonderful! I went through a TOUGH time with my daughter through her teenage years but thank goodness we are pretty close now! Also, congrats on the continuing weight loss and YOUR BIKE RIDE!!! Keep studying the 5K stuff. There are all sorts of programs to build you up to races. I think it would be cool too. I've had plantar fasciitis off and on for years so running on streets is pretty much out of the question for me but I've ALWAYS wanted to do 5ks, 10ks or even a half marathon! I can live vicariously through you and Britt!!! I'm not sure if I've ever written about how much weight I've really lost. It's amazing to me when I think about it because I usually just count from the day of my WLS since I'd regained so much of what I'd previously lost. However, from my absolute highest weight ever, I've lost an whopping 167.25. GULP! CeCe
