You are rocking! You just keep movin' on down! Add some exercise to the plan and you will probably feel like you have conquered the world.
I would love to know the *secret* of not obsessing over food. I am either obsessing about what I just ate or obsessing about what I am going to eat next. There is no moment that food is not in the front of my mind. I know there is no *secret* but I sure would like to be where you are mentally.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time, Britt. But you have got to be the most determined person I know so I know you will be making the changes you need to make to be where you want to be!!!!
I actually have had a wonderful week and a half! I have made my first goal of being One hundred and thirty-something lbs. I went to buy some pants last Tuesday and the 6s were too big. But then I got sick and had to leave the store. I then went to another store the next day because I truly thought there was no way I was any smaller than a 6 and thought the store (Kohl's) was messed up or something! Anyway, I went to Belk and tried on a pair of 4's and they fit. They aren't tight or anything! They only had 2 pair of size 4 pants so I bought both of them. I feel so much better in clothes that actually fit me! Most of my pants are size 8's but I do have a skirt that is a 6 and a pair of jeans in a size 6, so I knew I was at least in that size. It really blew me away that I am now in a size 4. I don't want to go any smaller in clothes. I'm happy right where I am. Now if I can just stay here everything will be great!
On a personal note, I met a guy!!!!!!!!! I haven't dated anyone in 2 years except for a blind date here and there. Well, I actually had a serious relationship with this guy, Mark, about 5 years ago for 2 years but we split up because of external problems. Mainly, we worked on the same project (he is government and I am a contractor) and, although it wasn't, it was perceived that it was a conflict of interest. We had to keep our relationship very quiet and after time it just got too hard to do. It really broke my heart and was the start of my downward spiral with my weight and my lack of self-confidence. So he called me last week to tell me about something related to our old job and we just started talking. I told him if he wanted to get together for a drink and catch up that that would be great. He couldn't make a date fast enough! So we met on Saturday night (the 1st) and just hit it off so well. It's like we never split up. But, trust me, I am staying guarded for a while because I can't handle getting my heart broken again! He loves my new look and can't seem to stop looking at me. It's so amazing to feel this way again after so long. I'll keep you updated but keep your fingers crossed that this works out!

Hi everyone.
Let me just say, BRAVA to Britt. She had the courage to fess up and now she has the determination to move forward. We love you Britt!
You all read my fiasco with the 5dpt. I was up 6 lbs on Friday. I have since managed to shed 2 of them leaving me with a 4 lb gain for the week. I am back on my 1200 cal plan. Watching the carbs. I intend to see the 205 mark or lower by next Monday. I also pledge to update my aviar picture. This one is so old!
On a good note, I met my exercise goal last week of 7 hrs! I am shooting for 8 this week.

Hey Britt - Super Hugs to you. You can do this Britt.
I am getting a little more comfortable with my food and not freeking out about it so much. I don't know exactly how to describe it except that I'm not obsessing over food in any way right now. I still need to get my rear in gear with exercise but ... that is not a new problem.
