Congrats to everyone. Yeah our old Britt is back! CeCe I want to see that dress girl! Val - all liquids help me but when I come off I have to plan what I eat or I'm back to square one. It is a great detox though. I am doing Ok. I'm still up and down within about a 3 pound range. This week was down. EXERCISE - I have got to get up in the mornings and do it because I obviously don't have time later in the day. I'm 167 - down 191 from where I started. I do plan on running a 5 K Britt. I'm still a little sore from the TT - like when I run the jolt of hitting back on the road makes my scare hurt all the way around. Any one know if this is normal? Trudy

Go Deidrah! A 3 lb week is fabulous! Keep focused and you will be at goal in no time. You must share your PT's advice. Why no gum? I have heard that chewing gum helps to curb cravings. The trainers on "The Biggest Loser" swear by it. Of course I know that XTRA is a paying advertiser for the show. Hmmm. Inquiring minds want to know. Have a great week and keep up the good work. Hugs, Valorie

Hi Beth! We certainly Welcome you here! Read, lurk and post when YOU feel like it! I am glad to hear that you find this board helpful We all struggle from time to time. It is normal, we are human. The key is to remain focused and determined to *change* and remember where we have come from being obese - do you want to go back there again? I AM SURE YOU ARE SAYING "NO WAY!" so ... If you are not content with your weight. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO change it. YOU CAN DO IT! Look at what you are doing now that is not helping you reach the # that you would be content with. What do you have to change? Just do it girl. I am here for you if you need some help [email protected] if you want to email me directly. I recently feel back on track and ... I am doing the right things for me! My scale was up and is now going back down to where I like it. It is SO EASY to get off track and SO HARD to get back on ... but WE CAN DO IT! sending you hugs, Britt

Thanks Britt. I lurk a lot on this site. I read all the posts, just don't have much to say. I don't know many people here, but you all help a lot. I've struggled a lot, but am not content with my weight. I don't see it changing anytime soon, and that's ok. As far as Upcal, I know what you mean. I had a hard time finding the right kind of calcium to take. I was doing chewables the first few months postop. Then struggled to find something that wasn't a horse pill I would have to take several times a day. My bariatric coord. told me about Upcal. I've never looked back. Have a good day! Beth

I've been using Upcal-D for a year now. I just dissolve it in water.

Hey Cece....I saw my ps today. He said that brow, lower eye, face, and neck lift would be $13,500. Does that sound about right? I made an appointment to have my cyclop boobs fixed on May 8th. I'll do the face at the end of the year. Ain't it a hoot? All this surgery! You and I are like battle warriors!

Hello November buddies, This has been a better week for me! Although I only got one exercise session with the PT in, my eating has been more controlled. I started on a bubble gum binge so then I switched to SF gum. Well, now I'm trying to detox from gum altogether. The PT I'm working with is also a nutritionist so she is really helping me in areas I had no clue about. So here's my stats for this week: Starting weight = 312.4 Last week = 190.4 This week = 187.4 Loss this week = 3 lbs!!! Total loss = 125 Current BMI = 31.1 Hope everyone has a great week, Deidrah
