Well, I am a little late.... But I made it.... LOL.... I have been so side tracked this week with everything... Anyway.... The depression is slowly getting better... They changed my meds last week and I think it was a very good change... Each day is a little bit better than the day before....
So here are my stats....
Highest weight - 309
Lowest weight - 157
Last weeks weight - 223
This weeks weight - 223
I am just thankful that I didn't gain any weight this week.... Even if I hold at this weight that will be fine with me... Of course I would love to be back on Onederland, but as long as I don't go any higher.... I really think the reason for the initial gain was all the alcohol I was drinking, since that is now gone (almost 2 months clean and sober) My weight is holding steady... Now I just need to cut back on the junk I am eating and I will be doing good.... :-)

I made it to 138.5 today. I haven't seen the 130's since I had a surgery last year and couldn't work out for weeks. I'm soooo happy. Now...how to keep it off... I'm exercising two hours a day at a very high intensity. Eventually my body will get used to that and then what?
I guess I will worry about that another day. Today I'm just going to be happy!

Have you tried to post this on teh lap band forum - so yu can get MORE specific answers from others whove been banded. I know we have a few here too.
I think it really all comes down to will and being DERTERMINED tomake this work. It's no magic pill (WLS of anykind) I still struggle daily to remain at goal. I fought for every pound i lost. I never felt as is the weight *just fell off* as some described. I worked hard. If i get lazy and go back to my old ways and bad eating habits. My SCALE QUICLKLY REMINDS me that I cannotget away with that! I gain.
I think you need to talk with your surgeon / nutritionist about your concerns with getting your band tightened.
Either way - we are here to support you!
you can change - -IT IS A LOT OF HARD WORK ....but step by step, day by day, YOU WILL GET there!
YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE .... you are posting here .... looking for help - that is in no way a FAILURE!
