Slow weight loss

I had my RNY in May of this year.  I had lost 59 pounds prior to surgery, but since surgery have only managed to lose 48 pounds.  It is very discouraging, thought it would go much faster than this.  I did have some ulcers at the beginning and also had Roux syndrome.  Has anyone else had slow weight loss?  I am now 44 pounds from goal, but it seems I only lose about 2-3 pounds a month.  It is discouraging.  Also, I can eat almost anything, just not much, days vary, but I have never had dumping syndrome - which I thought might help.  I am scared if the weight loss is so slow, will I start regaining at some point.  Thanks for any suggestions.

The weight loss will slow down a bit.  Keep doing what you know is right.  I am 2 years out and want to lose 20 more pounds.  It has been hard to lose these last few pounds.  I have lost 135 thus far.  I have maintained well over the last 2 years.

Suggest that you up your exercise program.  Increase resistance and the amout of time you are exercising.  I am trying that for 2 months.  So far I have lost 2 pounds, so now I need to lose 18 more.

Good luck,
Be Encouraged
