Hello all!
Can you believe Turkey day is right around the corner!?!? I am hosting my very 1st Thanksgiving this year, I am so excited. I had planned on running the Turkey Trot again this year, like last ...But now I 'm wondering am i nuts? To be gone for about 2 hours with drive time, getting there to check in ... the race itself is only about 30 minutes. I have people coming at 2pm I'd get home around 10 am .... that is crazy right? Anyone have two cents to put in???
Anyway - I 've been doing great drinking my water ...YAY! I feel good to be back in that habit.
I received my first Christmas card already can you believe that one? and I thought I was ahead of the eight ball .... I think not. Mine are ready to be mailed out ... But I won't send them until December 1st :)
I hope all of you have a GREAT Thanksgiving! Remember we have LOTS to be thankful for ... enjoy your family and friends and have FUN!

The ten pound weight loss challenge that I started at work is almost over. We had six weeks to lose ten pounds. Sixteen of us joined and we each put in ten lottery tickets. Only one person will make the ten pound goal. She had a lot to lose so it was easier for her. Why is it so easy to put weight on an so hard to lose! I'm kind of embarrassed that I didn't make it. I've been burning lots of calories, drinking water, and counting calories. I really tried, but my body said "No"!
My two cents on your Turkey Trot: this is your first time hosting so give yourself a break. You will be multi-tasking all morning to pull it all together. I would hate for you to have a melt-down in your sugar-free cranberry sauce!
beprotein.com has some fabulous wls friendly recipes. I plan on making most of them!
Enjoy your holiday. I would love to hear everyone's tips for success. Not naming names, but sure would love to hear from some of you... Miss you all!

I know Wanda doesn't it make you NUTS when our body does not want to BUDGE! grrrrrrr Drives me nuts too.

I am on lay off this week and has it ever been a awful time for me. I am still sticking to my water and managing to stick with the program, ALOT OF TROUBLE WITH THE GRAZING, have to stop this and

All of you have a very nice holiday and stay fit and try some good receipes, my husband wants me to make some kind of corn/crust that his Mom used to make, have no idea what he is talking about but looked on the internet and found something that I think is close.
