Here we are again … it’s Monday! So tell us how was your week?

Did you take your vitamins and supplements?

Did you drink *all* of your water?

Did you exercise?

Did you log your intake?

Have any NSV’s (non scale victories) you want to share?

Have any challenges?

I had a good week. I definitely slacked in the H20 department this week, and I will get back to my gallon a day this week. Vitamins are good; I also chose to sleep in a few days this past week and opted not to go to the gym. Sometimes... my body says “Umm not today Britt, we are resting!” ha ha

There was a Halloween Festival in town this weekend. So we took the girls...Hannah Montana, Jojo and Ariel – They looked sooooo cute. I posted their pictures on my profile if you want to take a peek.

Halloween  - Is right around the corner - all these little treats haunt me every year. I *vow* to stay strong and not touch one piece on the Halloween candy going forward. Once piece leads to 20 for me.

Be*DETERMINED* to stick to your plan this week - every single day. Honor yourself and know you have the strength to make the right decision.

Off to the gym I GO :)

Have a great week.
Britt

i go for my 2 year check-up in about 3 weeks so i'm going to talk to hunter and dr. facundus about it then. i'm wondering if i might have celiac disease or something and maybe THAT'S why it's so much work for me to keep weight on. (because seriously, it shouldn't be "okay" to eat an entire family size bag of chips WITH dip and lots of chocolatey treats daily IN ADDITION to everything else that i *need* and to still weigh 100 pounds.) but honestly, since i'm so short then it really doesn't matter that much. i'm 5'0" exactly and isn't it supposed to be something like 100 pounds for the first 5 feet and then 5-10 pounds for every inch after that? idk...

Thanks for sharing - keep us posted on what your Doc thinks.

I have to say I was drooling a bit when you described all you could eat and still NOT gain *sigh*

hugs,
Britt

Good Morning!

I had an okay week.  Had major back pain issues all week which made exercise pretty much impossible.  I finally had to break down and take a muscle relaxant...I hate taking them because they make me super slow and out of it for about 24 hours...BUT it really helped my back so I guess it was worth it.

Yesterday I played football (well, catch really since it was only the three of us) with my bf and his son (12 years old).  I have never thrown a football in my life and I totally throw like a girl but it was a blast.   Never would have imagined I'd even want to try something like that and before weight loss I couldn't have even if I had wanted to.  It was a wow moment I never expected to have.

I am back to my morning workouts this morning but am going to take it a bit slower as I think that was a big cause of my back pain.  Found a lovely 20 minute yoga dvd and started slowly working my abs which feel SO different now.  I also have my second lymphatic drainage massage tonight and I can't wait.  It helps SO much with the swelling!!!

Here are my stats:
Starting: 292
Today: 145, up one pound from last week but still in my acceptable range.
Total lost : 147 pounds!

My goals for this week are to take my vitamins every day and track my food intake every day.

Just out of curiousity...have any of you done weigh****chers since WLS?  Some girls from the office are going to start and I'm contemplating going with them.  I have a couple problems though...first I am in my acceptable weight range so according to them I don't need to loose anything, second if I eat according to their plan I know I"ll gain weight.  Typical diets (including WWs) have you eating 1500 calories to LOOSE weight...If I ate that everyday I'd gain.  I have to stay around 1100-1200 to maintain.  What do you all think?

WOW - football :O)

Glad to hear that your massage helped and hope you have the same GREAT results tonight.

I did join WW when I was 20 lbs from goal and did become a lifetime member

I mainly joined for an official weigh in and accountability - My Nutritionist thought that was a GREAT idea - but told me to STICK to my plan and do not use their plan and or make adjustments. I maintain at the same range 1100-1200 if I ate consistently at 1500 I'd gain gain gain- I am with you!

I have not been there in a long time - but I think you just nudged me :)

So if you are joining for accountability - go for it - just make adjustment for *you*

have a great week

Hi Everyone,
I am doing about the same, no gain, no shame.  It helps me so very much to track on fitday.com
I stay within my calorie range of 900 to 1300 a day and still dont loose any, but that is okay, still okay by me.  Would love to get into the thirties but will not happen any time soon, but I WILL NOT GIVE IN OR UP.
I keep up on all my vitimins and still work EVERYDAY and do my excercises, so that is a good thing.  Like most of us this ole body just does not like to excercise, but I make myself do so, weather I like it or not.
I got a steal at Walmart the other day, went in and got shampoo and rinse and ended up by the clothes and lo and behold found three ladies t-shirts for $1.00 ea and a pair of jeans in a size 10 for a big $3.00 so I gotfour items for $6.00 for work, being in my line of work I can ruin a good blouse and pants in a few minutes at work,  can not go wrong there, was actually less expense there that I have found at the thift stores.  What a wow moment for me.

Everyone have a wonderful week and keep up the good work, and lets slide though our journey with the greatest ease that we can.
