But today was near perfect! 1300 calories, 83 carbs, and 127 grams of protein. Yay!!! This probably doesn't sound too exciting to most of you, but to me it means that I've finally regained some discipline! I was at a conference and turned down cookies and brownies. So double-yay for me!
Here's what I had:
Click (Double-shot of expresso and protein) Yes, I know it's loaded with caffeine.
Weight Control Oatmeal with chocolate protein mixed in
Turkey wrap
chips (not my best choice, but I was at a conference and ate what they gave me.)
PB2 with chocolate protein mixed in
Baked chicken
Green beans
Protein shake
Tomorrow, I vow to make good choices and to do whats right for me. This time last year, my weight was 138, this year 145! I dropped to 132 in November of last year.
We started a ten-pound weight loss challenge at work. I took Britt's suggestion about everybody contributes ten $1 lottery tickets. Anyone *****aches the ten-pound goal by Thanksgiving shares the winnings. Now, it's very public and I hate to not win anything I enter. It's going to help motivate me.
Thanks for posting, Donna. You are doing really great and I want to join you. I've been lazy for too long.
Wanda
Great job Wanda -- Kudos to your will power!! It is exciting and I can totally identify with you!!!
Incidentally, I love CLICK... Just wi**** wasn't so expensive. :( The Syntrax Cappucino I drink is actually caffein free and tastes pretty good.
My motivation is the LiveSTRONG 5K and 65 mile bike ride the end of this month. Continuing to be fit is what will get me through.
