 HELLO EVERYONE!

It's been a while and we are all fast approaching our TWO year SURGIVERSARIES! That went fast hah?

I am going to get back to posting the weekly weigh in Every *MONDAY* so join in and let us now how you are doing. Give support, advice (when asked ) and cheers! Ask for help - share your successes and let us know how *you* are doing. We love to hear from you!

Starting weight * 250.5
Starting BMI * 40.5
Current weight * 144
Current BMI *  22.6
Goal weight * 142
personal acceptable range * 142-147

Loss to date * 106.5 pounds!!!

Thanks for starting this again Britt... I have thought of starting it, but have been so ashamed that I couldn't....

 Right now I don't want advice, don't deserve cheers but I need support (not that I think it will help at this point)....

Starting weight = 309

Lowest weight = 175

Current weight = 223

Most weight lost - 134

Current weight lost = 86

 Very very sad about my stats, but I am Keeping it real and reporting what is going on... There is oooohhhh so much going on in my life... but that is another story, another day and another time....  You don't even want to know.... Just keep me and my family in your thoughts and in your prayers....

Hey Britt and everyone!  I've missed you.  You're right about two years going by quickly!  Remember the early days when we all had doubts that we would actually lose weight?  Here are my current stats:

Starting weight:  234  (I found a record of my highest weight being 288!)
Current weight:  144 (It was 142 yesterday--hate when that happens!)
Goal weight:  140
Personal acceptable range:  132 - 140

Last November I went down to 132 and here I am 12 pounds heavier a year later!  I really want to lose 10 pounds by the end of November.  I haven't monitored my intake in months.  That's all it would take. 

If I started a ten-pound challenge at work for motivation, do you have any ideas on how I can make it fun for people?

You can do it - I have NO DOUBTS.

how about each person puts into a pot 2, 3  or 4 (you decide the $ amount) $1.00 instant lottery tickets. The winner takes all :)

I think its *key* for us to check in with one another it is good for *all of us* :) I enjoy keeping up with you ladies and yhe boys when they join in.

I am sure glad I decided to check the board tonight. I am so glad Britt you are starting the weigh in’s again I sure missed it. Even though I haven’t posted myself for some time I still do check the posts from time to time. This has been a very busy summer for me probably one of the best summers I have had for as long as I can remember. It so wonderful to have my life back again. Anyway my weight for the most part has stabilized, and I am still 26 pounds below the goal weight my doctor had set for me. I seem to be still loosing inches mostly around my waste, but my weight is staying the same, I think that is because I am back to weight lifting a lot and I am loosing fat but gaining muscle mass. Hope everyone is doing well.

Highest weight 2001-- 878

Surgery day weight 544

Today’s weight 224

Loss since surgery 320

Total weight loss since 2001---654

you are such a success.  Your #'s are just mind blowing!!!! I am glad that you will be joining us. I have to agree - I now enjoy the summer and LIVE each day to the fullest. Weight loss Surgery has given us a gift - that we all need to *treasure* each and EVERY day :)

I am so glad we have started this again, I really like to talk to you all and it's really easy to start sliding so I think it's a good check for us.  I've had a really hard summer for pain wise but I just started on a new med 2 months ago and it has virtually wiped out my fibro pain.  I have been experiencing terrible daily headaches for the last three months so I started physical therapy today. So I feel really good that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I do feel really good about maintaining my weight I've stayed almost the same weight for the last year and am pretty pleased about that.  I'm looking into having some plastic surgery after the 1st of the year so I'm excited about that.

Current BMI *  30.4
Goal weight * 165
personal acceptable range * 165-169
Loss to date * 132.0 pounds!!!

Hey Deb!

Nice to hear that your Fibro pain is better :) and you see that *light* at the end of your tunnel. Wonderful news. You really have done great with maintaining your weight  go Deb!!!

I am happy to to get back into the groove of weighing in and *posting* it every Monday.

We have a tight group here - I so enjoy all of you in my cyber life :)

Yay!  weekly weigh in is back!  I've missed you all.

I've been through a lot these last two months with PS and a pulmonary embolism.  SCARY!!!  But am finally on the mend.  I still have pretty bad swelling and for some reason it's been really bad this week .  I have finally been cleared to start working out (and singing, yay) again which I started yesterday so that might be part of it.  I'm going to try a lymphatic drainage massage tomorrow (anyone had one of those??).  The one bad thing is that I had almost quit eating (too much pain) for about four weeks and had quit tracking my food intake.  Now that my appetite is back I need to get back to that and planning my meals.  Too easy to put stuff in my mouth when I"m not tracking everything.

Starting weight  - 292
Current weight - 145
Total weight lost - 147 pounds
Acceptable range - 142-147

And that's my story for today :-)
