I lost a pound! That doesn't sound like much, but I used to gain 10 pounds every convention. We had three of those fancy three hour dinners, so I'm feeling pretty successful! Wishing you a happy week! Wanda

Thanks, Shawn! More than anything I was just lucky it didn't catch up with me. I could have done much better than I did, but I could have been much worse too.

That's awesome!!! Great job staying on top of it. It's always so easy to excuse bad choices when you're at things like that. So good for you for not giving in. Corinna Q

Truth be told...I did give in. By the last banquet I was actually eating sugar. I ate almost an entire dessert. I'm not proud of it and it scared the heck out of me. So I immediately when on a "diet" when I got home. I'm low-carbing it this week. I noticed that you are staying low carb. I'm impressed, because I'm dying here! You will find that you will drop weight pretty easily immediately after your plastic surgery. Be careful! That's when I got off track and it has taken months to get back to logging my food. Wanda

Yeah...I know I'll need to watch that. It's always so great when it seems like the weight just comes off all by itself My biggest thing is to plan my meals. That way I know what I'm having, when I'm having and it makes it easier not to snack. It really helps me!!! Corinna Q

Great for you to lose a pound while away on a convention, I know a with all the food that the company brings in for our appreciation BQ's there is alot of food and I really have to be picky and just pick out the protein stuff, it is hard not to go for the really good stuff (like cake, cookies, and plain ole SURGAR) so I know what you are facing with a three hour dinner to drag out the "dont eat that" You look great, keep up the good work. I didn't really plan well. I didn't have snacks or protein with me. I ate basically the same thing everyday: for breakfast I had Special K, skim milk, and fruit (too many carbs--not enough protein). For lunch I had the inside of a turkey/cheese sub. For supper our group was wined and dined at ritzy places and that's where I strayed. But I worked out every morning in the fitness center and walked back and forth to the convention center so I guess it balanced out. I consider not gaining a huge success because it's like a cruise--I always gain!

Good for you for working out while you were gone... I have to say it has been a long time since my treadmill has met my feet.... LOL... I know I need to get back to it, but it just seems like such a job..... I know I came this far and I DO have WORK to keep thing going in the right direction... Today I at an entire candy bar.. that is the first time I have done that since my surgery... I have had a bite or 1/4, but no more than that.... I feel so guilty..... At least I can come here and "confess and be forgiven"...... LOL..... Anyway.... I am so proud of you for keeping strong and working out and mostly staying on track.... you really are someone to look up to!!!!! You really inspire me and hope someday I can be as committed as you are....You Rock!!!!! and you should be so proud of all you have accomplished..... WTG!!!!!!!! HUGS, Shawn M.
