My day at Costco!!!!
I was doing good today.. was in a fairly good mood from yesterday's festivities and I was off to get pull-ups for my little one and a few munchies for the kiddos... I was in line and forgot to put the little divider after my order.... Then someone came up behind and grabbed the bar and put it there... I of course said "Oh I am sorry, I don't know where my mind was"... and laughed... she then said to me "That's OK hunny, that is normal when you are expecting" and pointed to my belly!!!!!
OMG!!!! I couldn't even say anything... I just turned around and handed the cashier my costco card and went about the rest of my order..... GEESH I am gonna be a grandma in a few weeks, I have lost over 100 pounds, I wore a two piece bathing suit yesterday at the pool and here this woman is telling me I look pregnant!!!! That just killed my mood for the day needless to say....
No I did not turn to food, but I sure wanted to.... I am still shocked that someone, anyone, could actually say that to me... I really don't think I look pregnant, maybe still a bit overweight, but for sure not pregnant.... What a day.... OH and then I went $80 over budget on the grocery bill too... so that just put the icing on the cake (so to speak)...
Well that was my day...
We need to start sharing more on this board... it used to be so active and alive, where have we all gone... I am going to try and start posting a little something every couple of days... I hope you will all join in my efforts....

It's all in the clothes, girlfriend. I went to see my daughter yesterday and she looked so pregnant in the top she was wearing. I tried to give her a hint about it by saying "I can't wear shirts like that because they make me look pregnant." Some of the tops even make tiny, skinny people look pregnant. It's not you, so don't take it personally. And besides some people are just idiots...
Wanda
I know.... Thanks Wanda... and I am sure that is what it was... It wasn't one of those baby doll shirts, I can't wear those... I was just wearing a flannel shirt, unbuttoned with a tank top under it and jeans.... Go figure.... Oh well, I am not worried about it... It just really shocked me at the time and now my family and I keep joking about it... LOL...

Shawn,
I think I might have smacked her!!! Pregnant??? Although I agree with Wanda clothes are sometime not our friends even still. I know I sometimes put something on and think, oh that's cute, and a couple hours later look in a mirror again and think...what in the world was I thinking?
Anyway, good for you for not turning to food! That's important and a big victory for you! Way more important than an stupid woman who needs to learn how to think before she opens her mouth.

Yup, I kept my cool.... I guess I was just sooo shocked that I didn't know what to say or how to react.... I am over it though... I actually think it is kind of funny now that I look back... Knowing where I have come from and how I look now.... I do wish I would have had a whitty comeback for her though, but who cares.... I KNOW I don't look preggers...
