It is refreshing not to obsess about jumping on the scale every morning. However, it just makes me obsess about *if* I gained a pound, I wouldn't be able to know till it might turn into 2 or 3 or more....I am like Britt about the scale. I need to know where I am to know where I need to go. We are settling in nicely. I still have enought projects to keep me busy for months but it is livable now. We have everything we NEED to get by. Last week was a bear at work. End of month is always hectic trying to get everyone's shipments out so that they can do inventory and get them off of their books. People act like they don't know EOM is coming every single month. LOL It always amazes me. Anyway, this week has calmed down a bit. Hopefully I can check in everyday at lunch at least. I still haven't been able to get to the gym though. Funny thing is, I can't find my tennis shoes. Now these shoes survived the fire by being on my feet but they are no where to be found after the move. Go figure! Thanks for asking! Hugs, Valorie

You can have my scale too I get WAY too obsessed with weighing myself. I've never gone beyond once a day but dang if I haven't thought about it a time or two. I have managed to stay off the scale since Sunday. I can't remember now if I put that in my plan or not this week, to stay off the scale for seven days. But I do agree it's good to weigh at least once a week to make sure things aren't going nuts and you have no clue. It keeps us honest at least with ourselves. I had to go two months without a scale last summer and in some ways it was nice to not obsess about it and in other ways it was a concern that I wasn't keeping track of where I was. Good luck finding the tennis shoes Corinna Q
