Cleared out my closet

Well, I decided it was time to start sorting through all my various sized clothing and make some decisions. I'm now nearly 6 months post op from my second surgery, and I have been maintaining close to this weight for about 2 months. So I figure I can 1) get rid of all the clothes that are too small for me-from my skeletal days, and 2) get rid of all the bigger clothes I've been keeping just in case I gain more weight. What a CHORE! I had my entire bed covered! I ended up with 5 LARGE plastic containers with lids full of clothes! I have beautiful suits, pants, casual tops, sweaters, dresses and so many jeans I filled a whole container with just those. Luckily I had bought most of the stuff at this one resale store and it was really cheap. That's the only way I could afford to have clothes that fit as I was going down, down, down in weight. But this is an accumulation from about a year when I went from around a size 10 down to a size 0 and back up. I'm going to take most of the clothes back to where I got them and get credit for more clothes. It's nice finally having some room in my closet and dresser. And it's also nice to get those containers out of my room! They've been sitting there, piled up accumulating for months!

I used to love those days of clearing out clothes that were too big for me! In your case, it's probably not as fun after what you've been through. In any case, I'm sure you will love that more organized closet! Wanda
