I just have time for a quick post. I had some pictures done yesterday and have added them to my pics. Look at them when you want to cry. Sunday about 11:45 my husband, my son and I left our home to go get the baby a hair cut and to get groceries for the week at Wal-Mart. We returned about 2:30 and there were 4 fire trucks and a host of other emergency vehicles on our street. We had no idea that the "problem" was at our home. My oldest son, who had been called by a neighbor, came running down the driveway and physically pulled me out of the car to hug and kiss me. I still didn't understand what had happend. I asked him what was wrong and he said, Mom, your house is gone. What do you mean gone? Mom it is gone, everything is gone. He was even more emotional because one of our vehicles was at the house(and burnt to a crisp also) and one was gone. No one knew if anyone was home when the fire started. In fact, my Sunday habit it to stay home all day doing laundry and getting ready for the week. My oldest son was convinced that he had lost his mother. Everyone had been calling and calling both of our cell phones but neither of us had brought one with us. We were totally unaware of the devastation. Anyway, We are all safe and sound. We are staying with friends until... I have so much to do that I don't even know where to begin each day. It seems like this happened a life time ago but it was only 2 days. Unreal. It still hasn't sunk into my brain. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. The community and my work have all rallied to get us "things" We now have clothing to wear and all necessities. The rest will come with time. It is amazing how people come together in times of crisis. Neighbors that I didn't even know have offered us assistance. People can truly amaze you with love and kindness. I will write again later. Hugs, Valorie

Thank you all for your prayers and support. We are very fortunate to have all survived this event. God is Good and we are blessed. Our community and friends have rallied behind us and we are receiving donations of clothing and toiletries daily. In fact, we have received so much that I have made several trips to the Salvation Army and Goodwill to donate the "leftovers." Thank you all again and I will be intouch. Hugs, Valorie
