I couldn't give blood today

That happened to me a while back... I have given blood twice since my surgery but one time in the middle there my iron was too low... I guess it happens to a lot of people... I felt like I did something wrong though.... I am sure you are fine, they just like really high numbers from people that give blood.... HUGs, Shawn M.

Hmmm.... Makes me wonder about mine. I only take the iron every other day because of how bad it constipates me. (TMI) My blood work is always good when they check though. Valorie

Wanda, Evidently it takes a lot longer than we think to rebuild the iron level after surgery! Mine was a pinch low and I had long ago stopped taking my iron. I will take it longer this time! Since you've been taking yours, I wonder why yours is still low? CeCe
