New Avatar!!!!!

Now tell me I look like I am going to be a grandma.... NOT!!!!! LOL..... Anyway... I made a long post the other day and it never showed up.... I got a call from my son and they said that the baby is a BOY!!!!!! I have been having fun doing my grandma shopping for my grandson and finding lots of good clearances on snowsuits and warm stuff that they will need when the baby gets here..... I am starting to get excited about it all.... Finally.... LOL.... Just wanted to share my excitement for the week.... I need to get a couple hours of sleep here tonight so I am off to bed..... Thanks Britt.... It does look like she will be here in Michigan when she had the baby, but the down side to that is that it will be due to the fact that my son is probably shipping out to Iraq in July.... I am having a hard time dealing with that, but I will get through it as I have many other things in my life... We need to see your progress.... LOL... Thanks so much for the compliment... About two weeks ago I actually had someone (out of the blue) ask me how many grandchildren I had.... I was shocked because being only 37 I don't feel like I look like I should be a grandma, let along have grandCHILDREN already.... hmmmmm..... Shawn, I understand completely. Not sure if you can see it in my new pics but this was the exact reason for my new RED hair. Someone asked my 2 year old if Grandma spoiled him. I was shocked! I still can't see my new avatar. I am glad to know that it did work. Just not for everyone. Hugs, Val

Shawn, WOW! Are you sure that's not your very much younger SISTER?! GRANDMA? How can that be?! Congrats!!! If you aren't afraid of privacy issues, can you tell us his first name and how much he weighed? I know you are itching to see him!!! How was the delivery? Is your son feeling 8 feet tall? Thanks so much CeCe.... I can't tell you what he weighed because he isn't due to arrive until August... but I will tell you that they picked Evan William for his name.... I should be able to see him right away after he gets here because it looks like my son is going to be shipped out in July, so she is going to move back here to Michigan before she has the baby... That is the plan at least, but we all know that things don't always go as planned... I am glad she will be here, but I don't want my son to go overseas either.... What is a Grandma to do.... I will be sure to keep you all posted when I find more out... OH my son called me the other night all excited because he got to feel the baby move for the first time...
