Initial consult set for PS!
I called today and got an appt (April 3rd) for an initial consult with a PS for my bat wings. He will probably tell me to lose another 50 lbs before he will consider it but I just can't wait. I want to know if, how much $, how much more weight, when and a few more ?? I am sure. Has anyone on our board done arms? I don't remember. If so, give me the scoop. Everything else on the body can be covered by clothing of some type. Summertime is hard to cover the arms.
I am excited just to start tinking about it that I just had to share!
Hugs,
Valorie
Valorie,
I'm having my arms done on March 19 so I'll let you know how it is. I dread it because I feel arms are worse than a lower body lift!!! My arms are really not that bad but I hate the loose skin. I have fantastic delts, biceps and triceps but don't dare wear short sleeves because the loose skin looks like wrinkled chicken skin!!!! I'm having a breast lift done at the same time and he's removing any loose upper back skin too. The whole thing is even more expensive than the LBL! AND, it takes longer!

WOW!
I had no clue! I thought the LBL would be the most expensive and much more painful. I was guessing of course. But I thought the arms, not having any muscles cut, would be less painful. I haven't given any thought to the BL or back. I have heard the thigh is THE WORST and the PS I have a consult with, flat out said he doesn't do them. YIKES! I am scared to death already. Just the thoughts of it.
Please let me know how it goes. WOW that is just next week! Are you ready for the whole new package?
Hugs,
Valorie
Valorie,
I'm very nervous but I think I'm determined! Now, your price may not be as much. I'll be staying in the hospital - hopefully ONLY one night this time! Since he'll be doing the upper back too, he said I would have to be turned on my stomach first, then each side and then on my back for the breasts - so lots of turning. Plus, I guess doing the breasts takes more artistry than cutting you in "half" and lopping off extra skin!!! Don't ask me! Oh, yeah, I'm VERY afraid of the inner thigh surgery too and hope I don't ever get the nerve for that but wish a little loose skin would disappear there too. I want a full report after you go to the PS and I will certainly give you all the info on my procedure!! Hope I can type fairly easily soon afterwards but I'll have Hank update or get word to Wanda! She was a great support for me last time because she had just been through the tummy tuck and breasts!

LOVE the new Avatar!!!! WOW.... what a change.....
Anyway... I am not on the PS bandwagon yet, but I wish you luck and keep us posted on how it goes.... I personally still need to drop about 20 more pounds plus with hubby losing his job last month, we don't have the insurance (if it would even cover it) to do it, or the finances.... I hope you get the answers you are looking for and I am sure you will get a lot of help here from those that have had PS already....
Good Luck....
HuGs,
Shawn M.
