I just made myself sick!

I went through Wendy's drive through on the way home after working late. My intention was to get a small chili--but NOOOOO, I ordered a Jr Cheeseburger! I'm happy to report that I'm sick as a dawg! And, I'm actually happy about it! At least I won't be developing that bad habit again for awhile. In hindsight, I'm just glad that I didn't order fries too! Wanda

Bless your heart Wanda, I know just what you are saying. I've done it and never been so happy to be sick.... It is a blessing.... How's the job going? Is the stress letting up any? Hugs, Christy

New week..new stressors. I really believe that God gave me this job and this is where I'm suppose to be--but, it's a really difficult position. How about you? Are you still loving your new job? What exactly are you doing? I'm glad your move worked out well for you! Wanda

Actually I am such a glutton for punishment, I have gotten sick from something then tried again a week later *just to see* I know you have more control than I. Isn't it strange what will make one person sick doesn't bother another! I can't do sugar but I've eaten a Jr. Bacon cheeseburger before with no ill effects! Sorry that happened to you, Wanda, but I know what you mean about being glad that it did! It's good to have a reminder to help keep us on the right path. By the way, are all your stitches out now and what is the doctor saying? Are you going to require physical therapy? I still cringe when I think about your incident and hope that everything will heal totally. Any news on the stressful work related situation? CeCe

CeCe, you would just be amazed at how well I'm healing. My index finger is still sore, kind of blue, and just a little mishapened. The wounds have closed on all three of the fingers and it looks like I may heal without scars! How can that be? Randy commented on how amazing it is that I not only healed so quickly, but so completly! It's almost as if it never happened (on two of the three fingers anyway!) It must be all of those vitamins! I hope your surgery goes well on Wednesday. No more scarey emergency surgeries after you are in the recovery room! That really had me worried last time! Wanda

Wanda, That's great news about your fingers! Now, just keep them crossed for me on Wednesday!!! I sure don't want any more emergency surgeries! The hospital called today for a preadmissions telephone interview and the nurse noticed on my previous bloodwork how low my hemoglobin got just before the second surgery. I had to explain what happened! Hank knows what to watch for just in the case the nurses get busy during shift change like last time!!! I'll just be glad when it's finished so I can quit worrying about it and start recovering! CeCe

Wanda, I almost wish I had that problem... I eat those about 2 or three times a week... I usually can't eat a whole one and I used to eat 3 of them, so I guess that is somewhat good.... I need to stop doing that though.... Consider yourself lucky though that it made you sick... it will keep you away from it..... LOL.... HUGS, Shawn M.
